Snack Chopper 14C28N

I have a few Snack Choppers ready to ship. This has turned out to be a very difficult project with me doing much more hand work than I had anticipated but I am slowly finishing out the knives. A few with Olive Canvas Micarta grips will also be coming asap. At €90 each, these knives are a fantastic value.

The (semi) Production Snack Chopper, full flat ground from 2.5mm Sandvik 14C28N Stainless steel. The blades have a machine satin finish. The Snack Chopper features full tang construction and grips of Black Textured G10. The grips are securely attached with a 3mm concealed pin, twin brass threaded inserts and M4 stainless Torx screws. The cutting edge isn't straight but rather slightly curved toward the tip to allow you to rock the knife on the cutting board.

I call this run (semi) Production because I produced the blanks in my shop and sent them to a vendor in Solingen (2 vendors actually, it's a long story) where they were ground on automatic grinders. Final finishing as well as making and affixing the grips was all then done by me in my workshop. The Snack Chopper is very sharp, use extreme caution when handling these cutting tools.

Despite the name, this is a kitchen knife for cutting vegetables, fruits and meats. The Snack Chopper is NOT for hacking bones, frozen foods or tree limbs. This may damage the cutting edge and isn't covered by my warranty.
