Basic Field X2 Black Canvas Grips Prototype
The Basic Field X2 is the newest version of my successful Basic Field Knife. This knife was hand ground from Niolox Stainless at HRC 60 and hand satin finished. It's the first of the new design and the only one that will be marked Design Prototype. The X2 retains the enclosed tang construction featured on all previous Basic Field Knives.
The grips are CNC machined from US-made Black Canvas Micarta and attached with 6 M4 stainless screws, brass inserts and a 3mm concealed pin. The tang is exposed at the butt for hammering. A 6mm lanyard hole is provided.
A Baerwald-Made, Black Leather belt sheath is included in the price. Also includes a signed certificate.

Das Basic Field X2 ist die neueste Version meines erfolgreichen Basic Field Knife. Dieses Messer wurde von Hand aus Niolox Stainless bei HRC 60 geschliffen und von Hand satiniert. Das X2 behält die geschlossene Erl-Konstruktion bei, die bei allen bisherigen Basic Field Knives verwendet wurde.
Die Griffschalen sind CNC-gefräst aus schwarzem Canvas-Micarta, das in den USA hergestellt wird, und mit 6 rostfreien M4-Schrauben, Messingeinsätzen und einem verdeckten 3 mm Stift befestigt. Der Erl ist am Griffende zum Einschlagen freigelegt. Ein 6mm Lanyard-Loch ist vorhanden.
Eine von Baerwald gefertigte Gürtelscheide aus schwarzem Leder ist im Preis inbegriffen. Ebenfalls enthalten ist ein signiertes Zertifikat.
